The popular open-source audio editor Audacity has been acquired by a newly-formed music/audio company called Muse Group https://www.theregister.com/2021/05/04/audacity_muse_group/. The same company also owns open-source music-notation software MuseScore, but as far as I know they have nothing to do with MusE, the open-source music/audio sequencing software.
