Avoid the pain of Ubuntu 12.04 .. Wheezy is out ;)
I downloaded the live DVD image a few days ago, then realised I don't have a DVD burner in my computer right now. I think I have a spare one somewhere though.

I was merely using the slogan from their website. ;-)
Linux Mint is still the preferred choice. Looking forward to the "Nadia" release - we'll see whether it happens in November...

Hi LibreOffice folks,
The English New Zealand dictionary, hyphenation and thesaurus V1.0, was released as an extension for LibreOffice (V3.5, V3.6...) on 15 Oct 2012.
Project Description: Based on the 2008 English New Zealand dictionary by Geoff Palmer. I have added the NZ entries to the current LibreOffice UK dictionary and replaced the US thesaurus with the UK one from http://www.weeklywhinge.com / http://brit-thesaurus.sourceforge.net.
With a LibreOffice application open, select: Tools --> Extension Manager... --> get more extensions online... --> Firefox opens on the web-page... extensions.libreoffice.org --> Extensions --> In the search box enter "New Zealand"
Once it has download and been added as an extension, then close the LibreOffice application and re-launch it to commence having the NZ dictionary feature available.
The downloaded file is: dict-en-nz-2012-10-15.oxt
cheers, Ian.
PS: It appears to be a politically correct dictionary. If you spell the name of a city at the end of State Highway 4 as "Xanganui", it will prompt to correct the spelling with "Wanganui" or "Whanganui".
