It did the same for me with a windows install. The reason I was given was not enough memory so I use live earth on that computer Regards John

I am having problems making Google earth behave on my computer, after downloading the program and what appears to be a successful install, when I click on the icon on the desktop, it crashes the desktop [KDE],tried it with gnome with same result. Using Mandriva 2007.1 on a Asus laptop and firefox browser. Any guidance would be appreciated.
