I just tried installing mplayer but got denied with this message:
root@localhost john]# rpm -Uvh mplayer-1.0-0.10.pre4.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm error: mplayer-1.0-0.10.pre4.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: BAD, key ID e42d547b error: mplayer-1.0-0.10.pre4.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm cannot be installed

download the gpg key that the freshrpms packages are signed with: http://freshrpms.net/packages/RPM-GPG-KEY.txt
and then import it: # rpm --import RPM-GPG-KEY.txt
