We have a situation!
Saturday 7 November, 19:00 in Rio de Janeiro (find your local time here <https://tinyurl.com/q4yfd5h>)
The next cyberformance in UpStage takes place on Saturday 7 November (or the 8th, depending on where you are in the world) as is part of the Multicidade Festival in Rio de Janeiro. It is the 5th event in the series "We have a situation!" which uses cyberformance to address local issues through global conversation. This time, the theme is water pollution: as Rio prepares to host the 2016 Olympic Games, what's the state of the water some of the athletes will be swimming in?
Helen Varley Jamieson will lead a week-long workshop at Multicidade Festival to create the performance, with local collaborators Haveté Sustenabilidade and a team of online collaborators: Vicki Smith, Miljana Perić, Gabriella Sacco, Elaine vaan Hogue and Letícia Castilho.
More information and a live link to the stage on the day:http://upstage.org.nz/blog/?p=6409 <http://upstage.org.nz/blog/?p=6409> and http://www.wehaveasituation.net/?page_id=1222 <http://www.wehaveasituation.net/?page_id=1222>

hi
Just a quick intro for those that don't know me. I'm Adam, originally
from Auckland and formerly many things including artist (sound, radio,
digital), activist, community builder, and now embedded in creating new
ways of producing knowledge.

Just writing to say I'm in NZ from Monday for just over a month (with a
brief break in the middle). If anyone is looking for a guest lecturer or
speaker somewhere then let me know. If there is any topic I can waffle
on for the entertainment of your constituency I would be happy to do so.
I'm particularly keen to talk on free knowledge and the new foundation I
started 2 weeks ago (http://coko.foundation) but happy for other
opportunities.

Dear ADA-ers
We are really keen to get some projects going in Dunedin before the end of the year.
There are property owners really happy to have their spaces utilised and new broker Tamsin Cooper is super keen to hear from you if you have an idea that could be ready by November or December. We’d like to hear from prospective occupiers within the next ten days or so.
See the new website dedicated to Dunedin http://urbandreambrokerage.org.nz/dunedin/
Cheers
