What are the estimated costs for Apricot? I see the prices in the past
where about $US 500 ($NZ765) for the workshops and around $US600 ($NZ900)
for the actual conference.
Yes it’s a 2 week conference (1 week for workshops and 1 week for the
conference) compared to the small number of days NZNOG is usually on but
personally I think this will reduce the number of NZNOGers going who pay
themselves to go and for companies sending their staff there.
Yes I understand NZNOG doesn't have a huge budget but maybe we (NZNOG) can
get a grant from InternetNZ who give grants to the NZNOG community to make
it more affordable for them.
seems to be open still ...
Probably better for the individuals that want to go to directly apply for
things like that.
