Well, I think even MS sees the Black Hole discovery as more of a hack than
a fix. Dropping the MSS/MTU to the lowest possible value (536/576) would,
as the MS docos say, have a detrimental effect on performance, although it
seems that this is done on a per-connection basis.
Is there anything equivalent for Linux, *BSD and Cisco, incidentally?
