Here is some information about a research workshop being offered at WIntec for NZARE (New Zealand Association for Research in Education) on March the 22nd. Please see the attached documents for more information.
Thank you for registering your interest in the NZARE workshop day. This day is intended as professional development but also as an opportunity for you to network with others involved in research. At the NZARE conference last November I was pleased to find two other PhD students with similar research topics to mine.
Please find attached the bios and descriptions of the three main facilitated interactive sessions. The last session will be facilitated by some of the day’s presenters which means we have some experts available to answer any questions re study and/or research.
I know each of these presenters well and in the past have attended sessions facilitated by each. The impressive nature of their sessions is why I invited them to be part of our day. The session I attended a few months ago by John Bitchener I often describe as the best session on writing a literature review I have been to in years.
Wintec has kindly made their car parking building available for the day. I will send you details of how to find Wintec and the car parking building closer to the day.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. I am suggesting for lunch that we make it a shared lunch.
Any questions please get back to me. Please also forward this information to anyone you think might be interested.
