PGSA will conduct online voting for selection of 2021 board members and the members will be announced on Thursday, 26th of November. All members are welcomed to apply for the positions till 22nd of November (you still have time😋). I am adding brief description of the roles assigned to each board member below:
The PGSA committee has four administrative positions and additional ordinary committee member positions. The admin roles up for grabs are President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. An additional committee member is usually appointed as Social Media Manager.
The President and Vice-President are responsible for:
* chairing PGSA meetings
* determining the overall direction of the PGSA's activities
The Secretary is responsible for:
* taking minutes of PGSA meetings
* keeping all general (non-financial) records
The Treasurer is responsible for:
* the PGSA's finances
* making all authorised payments and
* keeping all financial records
The Social Media Manager produces the PGSAs online content, including advertisements for all PGSA social events.
It is compulsory for all board members to attend monthly meetings and help organize events.
