Kia ora tatou,

I'd like to invite you all to come to a post grad students social gathering at the Station this Friday from 4pm.

This will be a regular social event on the PGSA calendar and will be a great chance to meet a few new people and unwind after a hard month of study in a low key, friendly setting.

As with the pgsa coffee break (every tuesday at 2pm), I'll have signs on our tables so we're easy to find. Post grad drinks will run on the last Friday of the month throughout the year.

See you tomorrow,

Hamish

Kia ora tatou,

This is just a quick reminder to everyone that the post-grad coffee break is today (and every Tuesday) from 2pm at the Station. I invite all interested students to take a short break, come over to the station and meet some other post grads. I'll be there with some signs so the group is easy for everyone to find.

Cheers,
Hamish

Kia ora tatou,

I'm Hamish, one of the new members of the PGSA executive for 2011. My portfolio is to promote social events for postgraduate students across all faculties. At this stage, I have three social events I am organizing:

1) Postgrad caffeine hits: Every Tuesday at 2pm at the station - come along, have a drink and meet other grad students.

2) Monthly wind/wine downs: The last Friday of the month from 4pm at the station - come along for a post work drink.

3) Social sport - If you want the chance to play a social sport with other post grad students - then how about trying Ultimate Frisbee? I help run the local Ultimate Frisbee league which is very much beginner level and strongly socially oriented and we could get a team entered in this easily enough. If you're interested, let me know.

Please feel free to turn up to the caffeine hits or wine downs without giving an rsvp - the idea is to foster informal social occassions to meet other postgraduate students.

See you at the station,
Hamish
