Hi everyone,
A very happy and productive 2010 to you all.
You might be interested in this conference. (see details below ) Applications close 17 Feb.
The PGSA (Postgraduate Students Association) are holding the Annual General Meeting on 1st March (the first day of semester) in JG.17 from 11 -12.
All members are invited to attend. Its purpose is to formally appoint the new executive for the association for 2010. The PGSA constitution requires that members of the executive are voted in by its members - YOU! So we hope you will be able to attend, ask any questions, meet the proposed executive representatives (as well as other postgraduate students), and cast your vote.
In recent years the University of Waikato PGSA has not been a strong body, but this year we have a group of enthusiastic representatives from all the schools and faculties around the university who are keen to represent postgraduate interests within the university, and to initiate regular get-togethers for postgraduate students. Goals for this year include working towards the establishment of  a dedicated postgraduate space on campus, where PGs can meet, socialise, hold seminars and workshops etc. We are committed  to building a strong and unified postgraduate culture on campus.
Please join us for this first meeting of the year to vote in our executive.
