I am writing this because I am really very disappointed about what
happened today at the TWC meeting (October 16).
I was making my presentation and I asked for the cooperation of today
audience. I only asked for a feedback related with one short film
about the importance of 'Nutrient Trading Schemes' in New Zealand. It
is a critical topic because is related with freshwater quality and in
general terms lakes conservation (under a comparative perspective).
I was not able to show the short film because some people, like Olive,
thought "IT WAS NO RELEVANT"... How can someone can say that if I
didn't have the opportunity to showed it. I know the time limitations
we have but that is not the way to say it.
I think is not fair just to tell someone 'what you're going to show is
no relevant'. There is a lot of hard work behind this topic. I believe
is a SERIOUS LACK OF RESPECT what happened today, and it is a shame
because I was participating very actively in the TWC meetings.
I am very sad about what happened today and I really wish the best for
your next meetings.
