*Call for participation in postgraduate students’ focus group*
The PGSA has an ongoing commitment to support postgraduate students during
their journey. With the aim of promoting a productive dialogue between
students and university, the PGSA is calling for participants to join us in
a focus group to discuss the following questions:
- What are the difficulties that postgraduate students encounter during
their postgraduate journey?
- How can the UoW further support the postgraduate students’ community?
The aim of such consultation is to facilitate a productive dialogue between
students and university, and to produce a document in the form of a written
report. Only registered postgraduate students with the University of
Waikato are invited to take part in the discussion. The identity of the
participants will be kept confidential. Postgraduate students are invited
to take part of this consultation to share thoughts, positive stories,
challenges faced, interesting ideas proposed solutions.
The aim of this initiative is to promote a healthy and constructive
dialogue. Ultimately, the written report will be submitted to the School of
Graduate Research and other relevant university stakeholders.
To take part in this initiative, please confirm your participation with an
email to pgsa(a)waikato.ac.nz no later than Monday 4 September 2017, by 12 pm.
Date: 7 September 2017
Time: 2-3 pm
Please note that the date above is subject to change based on the number of
