Download the GUI chooser with java runtime environment (all in one zip file
e.g. download weka-3-2-3jre.exe via http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~ml/weka/ or
directly: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/weka/weka-3-2-3jre.exe). Once
downloaded, follow the installation instructions (Easy).
Save you data as csv file (via SAS or Excel), retrieve it in Weka Explorer
as csv (you'll get a question wether to convert, answer yes) and save it as
arff and/or continue working with your data in Weka Explorer. Once you have
worked with explorer you will learn the details and you may grow a desire to
do more or to tailor weka for your applications. Then you've to explore the
Weka command line options or some mild java-programming.
Converting csv to arff format is easy (instructions in manual or book) but
requires time for editing it with a text editor.
Read the documentation there is first (various sources, see weka site)! Weka
offers a unique combination of tools for datamining but documentation is not
very complete and confusing for a non java programmer. There isn't a real
user and/or programmers manual.
