Noticed this public invitation of likely interest to mash-up artists and
Not just artists and open data enthusiasts. It is for everyone (saw a
recently from govhack mentioning this)
GovHack is all about bringing together coders, artists, storytellers,
observers, communicators and more, from the private, public, NGO and
While the group of people is diverse, we’re united in a single purpose –
working with government data to innovate and create.
What is GovHack, anyway? It’s not about “cracking” government – it’s

It's a shame they have to mention the difference between a 'hack' and

joke about me sending them invoices).
This year, New Zealand’s second (ever) GovHack event will be taking
place across the country over the weekend of 29 – 31
Great to see it happening in Hamilton again. Organisers (and many
partaking) were also involved with global game jam.

At the app it vision collage meet up I invited people along and will email
vision collage with details. Hopefully numbers improve from last year.
I also wanted to remix the poster into a5/6 and convert to gray scale. I'm
still waiting to hear back about the license (praying for ccby) and if I
can get access to svg version. I'm keen to print these and distribute.
