So, some snail mail spam turned up at BSD today, for the Manager of the
Waikato Linux Users group. The company in question, IDS, is a Microsoft
Partner, and were offering us IT solutions.
I'm not sure why they were sending us this information, whether it was a
genuine mistake (ie, they were sending bulk mails out to postal addresses
harvested from somewhere) or they were targetting us as Linux users group
out of humour. Regardless, I replied with the following:
> The Waikato Linux Users Group recieved your advertisement in the mail
> today, and wish to inform you that we have no need of your services.
> The Waikato Linux Users Group has a strong background of Linux, Unix and
> other Open Source products. If IDS would like to further discuss these
> products with us, perhaps with extending IDS's knowledge base and skill
> set in mind, we would be willing to arrange something, either with WLUG
> members or with members from a local Users Group.
